Kim, you are probably done now. :)

Can you tell us how its going or how was it. Im considering it because everything is just too competitive around here and I dont want to wait 1 or 2 years to apply to SCCC, NCC or farmingdale and not get accepted, THEN have to find an alternative route.

Im going to take the test tonight.

about the prep test, work on your reading comprehension, basic math skills, and critical thinking.the pre req class for this is excellent! its basic math, like percentages, conversions, addition sub. mult of decimals, the reading is fairly easy and common sense, although dont underestimate it, it all depends on the individual. However, if you take the prep course you'll do excellent, and it even helps you to score amazingly on the NET! its a great resource and totally worth the wait, money and effort!!! if you really want it , you can do it!

Thanks Kyrstina for the info...

They said they are testing with the TEAS now...which includes sciece(bio, anatomy,physiology) reading, math and english.. Did you recently take the test or you are a current student?...thanks again..sorry for so many questions. I also missed the prep test for the math and english, so i have to study on my own for the Entrance exam.

hey, i didnt take the teas, however i did hear that the science is pretty difficult, but if you focus on your math and reading you should do well. study, study study ! there are some teas study workbooks you can get and sample tests on the internet, reasearch and get as much info as you can, im in the program right now, and i LOVE IT! my class is awsome, the instructors are awesome, its a family enviorment, we all help each other out, its about all of us making it to graduation, its truly a wonderful experience, and if the whole Nursing career is like this, you can guarantee that I will most def. be going for my RN an BS...You have to really want it, but it can be done, good luck to you, let me know how it goes!
