Am reapplying for the september program. I had apply for the march program did the entrance exam and had my interview but were not accepted. But i were told that i can reapply so i did.

i am applying my test date is next week, i am petrified. janelpn what was the reasoning for not being accepted? have you reapplied yet?

don't worry too much about the test, just relax and stay focus if you study from the teas book its similar to whats on the exam. Except the science its just random questions.

The reason i did not get into march were because i had some family problems to take care of so i did apply for september and i will be starting in september.

Took the entrance test yest thought it was extremely hard amd not really relevant to what a nurse needs to know. I work with two nurses who say lpn at boces is a waste of money and time and to go right into nursing instead.

i am waiting for the application so that i can take the entrance exam in november. im nervous, i know im very bad at math. i did get the LPN entrance exam book at borders to study from. does anybody have any information or opinions about the entrance exam test?

Hope you did well on your entrance exam... and are already attending classes!

To anyone else looking to apply to WS BOCES LPN program, don't get all worked up on the pre-entrance exam!

I'd been out of school for over 10 years when I decided to apply to the Nsg program... I bought the book, never opened it, took the test and got one of the highest scores. Had no problem getting accepted - and I NEED to tell you, my WHOLE life, I always attended Summer School for my poor Math skills....

So... as long as you know the Math basics, remember some "find the X" stuff, you'll be just fine!
