Oh deedee, My Reading score was lower than 50. So when i got my acceptance letter, it stated, I need to take the prep class it's more, an introduction to the program. It's suppose to help with study tips, medical terminology, and some anatomy before you start. If I don't take the prep, I won't be allowed to attend the school. Personally, to me it's just more money they want, but I guess extra help never hurt anybody lol. Deedee, are you allowed to tell us which classes we start off with? For example, do we do one course at a time, or do we have multiple classes During the week..?

Ah forget my last post, lol. I called and I'm good. Anyone else going to the prep class starting on the 8th?

Help pleAse! I tried calling the school but was told to callback. So I got my "conditional acceptance" letter. I have to take the prep class, it's not an option. So I have to pay 300 for that,then the deposit in 2 weeks of 1020.00, then it says the books are 800.00 due on orientation. So altogether it's 1,820.00 due? The books aren't included with the deposit? The prep class I could pay For that's not the problem. I just need to know how much ima need to put down, because financial aid doesn't cover that. Help please!

Lol I know, my friend comes home and shakes me to wake up because I got a letter from Sw Boces. I started freaking out, and when i open it im like, hw? Where's the welcome letter lol. But I was still excited lol Yea I know all the other students were really supportive, we should do the same it'll help us all get through this journey alive! Lol. I will keep in touch with all new info, and just sharing before we start! Good luck!

Hey Gleidsa! We're all attending the day program as well. I received just the hw assignment as well, glad you called and asked lol. Did they say u were gonna get anything else in the mail, cuz we have to pay a deposit within 2 weeks. But I have no info about it either. I was also wondering about the financial aid, I got pell as well, and I wanted to get a stafford loan but I heard on orientation they go over financial aid. I guess I should call tomorrow instead of waiting, I don't want to lose my spot. Btw. When is orientation, and first day of school? ( sorry if my spelling or words dont make sense, I'm trying to type on my iPhone lol)

I will be a day student. I only received a Packet for the summer work assignment and that on orientation will be our first test. I didn't receive any physical forms, or deposit info. He recommended I take the prep class but got no info. So I'm going to wait till Thursday, then call.

But wasn't I suppose to get a letter sayin I was accepted and about the deposit to save my spot for thE semester? Did u guys get separate mail from then about the hw and deposit information. So it's optional then? Idk if im going to be able to attend the prep class. I've been really sick, and in and out of the hospital this past week. Found out I might be diabetic, so I'm trying to get as healthy as possible right now, and get everything checked out incase I'm accepted. I dont want nothing holding me back :/

I feeL very positive about it, it went really well. She told me I should find out in 5-6 business days. Plus, she also said since my reading was a lil low there's a prep class that starts early august to prepare me for the program. So it sounds promising, but I didn't ask if that's extra money if I was accepted. Ill keep u guys updated.

I gave up hope and started looking into new schools, so it completely caught me off guard, but I was extremely pleased lol. Now I'm just nervous but feeling better now that I know what to expect a bit. I also have to go to my old job to get a reference from them n bring it with me, I'm currently unemployed. So once I do that I'll be at ease. Congrats on finishing school, and I'll wish u the same luck on yr exam and passing!
