Hi,
I am considering this 100 % on-site post masters FNP program but I am very hesitant. I need to hear from people who are going to or have graduated from this program. It runs in blocks of seven weeks.
Please share your opinion on faculty, quality of lectures, level of difficulty, do they do group projects, did they offer clinical placement? (they told me they do) and how was it. ANY information is helpful. I already know that is one of the cheapest one. I did my BSN and MSN there online and was really not very happy. I felt somewhat robbed. So maybe onsite may be different?
Please help, I need to make a decision soon.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Denisse,
I completed my MSN there (online) in 2017. I was looking for a program that also had a ground program, good reputation, and was reasonably priced. I thought the program was alright and I did not have any real issues. My RN to BSN (at another school) was much better. I was thinking about going for my NP, but I probably will not. Why did you feel robbed by Wilmu?
Good Luck!!

Hello,
Thanks for replying. I graduated with my MSN online there as well a few years ago. I want to get my FNP now.
I said I felt robbed because several instructors were not very helpful in assisting students with the learning process. For instance, they would not give you prompt feedback, which in an online environment is very important since it is you who is really doing the job and teaching yourself. I am not going to say every single instructor was like that but unfortunately the vast majority of the instructors I had was like that. I was hoping to hear from anyone with on-site experience. I really want to make the best of my time and money and really learn what I have to learn.
where did you do your BSN?
OK, I get it. Do you think that going the ground program route, versus online, would help?
I did my BSN at SUNY-Delhi (NY). Excellent program!! But when I graduated in about 2014, they only offered the MSN in Education.
I'm sorry that I cannot help; hoping that a student from Wilmu will reach out. If you happen to have your program from graduation, you can view the FNP graduates. You can try to reach out via Linkedin. I have done that to find one of my classmates.
I wish you the best on your journey!

Hi fellow nurses, I am looking for post master's FNP program here in California (online), I came across National University who happened to offer Post master's FNP course, unfortunately the person that I spoke with, the first thing that came out of her mouth is the price of the program rather than giving me information concerning the program. That really turns me off. Any thoughts on this university? or any suggestion on any online school that offers the program?

Did you ever find a program? I’m looking for one now. Have my MSN looking for PMHNP program.
I did, I'm starting with Walden University. I have a lot of fellow nurses who graduated at Walden, all passed their board and now working as FNP.
