Hello ALLNURSES family. There. Ive done it. Ive finally gotten my ATT, and have finally scheduled the exam. Ive been studying for quite a while (while doing a little family thing). Ive visited the testing site (It was a suite in a hotel. the man a reception let us go in even if its after hours. The walls were made of glass so i was able to take a peak..only its too dark...)
I just want to thank you all for sharing experiences, knowledge, and the laughter...this site helped me a lot:) Especially the random fact throwing thread...lots of info there.... Of course who would understand you more than a fellow nurse:nurse:/fellow nurse to be?:typing
i just read a post dated last year, and it kind of inspired me:mad:. If im right, its from Cher. She said to not let the exam get the best of you. you are still the person you are...and you are still the nurse you ought to be. It just so happened that you're a lousy test taker if you fail.
I also want to let all the othe test takers know that we are not alone in this one, and that we can rely on God to help us get through this. We all just need to keep on doing our part.
A friend of mine who passed last year gave me this quote. She said this to herself over and over again during the exam.
"If you prayed, dont worry. If you worry, you didnt pray."
Let's all keep praying for one another.:)
