Will NY BON approve my school?

Hi all,

I'm currently an Lpn student in Florida, graduating in three weeks but I would like to test and get my license in my home state of New York. I was told by my nursing director that NY wouldn't accept my application because my school does not go to clinicals for mental health. Are there any other Lpn students that have gone to school in Florida and tested in NY and had their application denied by the NYS BON?

Thank you troll. I actually had contacted the NYS BON and did not get an accurate response. Now if you don't have a response that can actually answer my question go chuck off with your 8ball.

Well, you didn't say you contacted the New York BON, which is really the logical choice over asking random internet people. And how do you know the advice they gave you isn't accurate? I would hardly go with the moniker troll. Sarcastic, yes. But I'm sorry my response was not the answer you were looking for
