Will I lose my Spot??

I am scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN on Sept 8th. that was the earliest date in my city. I would have gone out of state like some people, but I just had a baby and I'm breastfeeding him. It would be difficult. Anyway... if I click on the "Reschedule" link, will it immediately cancel my Sept 8th test date? Or can I look for other test dates first, find one, and then schedule and cancel my other date? I don't want to click on it if my test date will get canceled. I'd be worried that someone would be looking at the same time and take that date.

If you do not complete the process for obtaining the new date, you will retain the old date.
