Will my gpa affect my overall teas score?

I'm new to the nursing program so there is so many things I don't know about. A friend of mine told me that if my GPA is high enough I will get accepted, but will my GPA affect my overall score on the teas?

My gpa is low at a 2.8... you guys might be thinking "what in the world were you doing?". I spent 3 years on business administration because I didn't know what I want to do or be back then, I went from early childhood education to business administration because of the lack of interest resulting in my low gpa. My cousin talked me into nursing and I decided that I'm going for it, I never felt so motivated in my other majors before so nursing must the right choice for me.

Do you guys know if my gpa will affect my teas score? Or is the gpa scores is just for the selecting process?

Every school has different admission criteria. You need to look at the school(s) you're interested in and see what their specific criteria are.
