Hi everyone ! I was just accepted into wilkes Spring 2022 pmhnp program and I'm so excited to start the program and advance my career! Has anybody else been accepted for that start date?, previously attended or attending now? I don't have a facebook but I'm going to make one to join the main Wilkes pmhnp group, I will also try and make a page for our cohort. Let's support each other and help each other succeed!

Hey, I just applied last 2 weeks and I am waiting to hear back. I hope I get accepted. They say they want a 3.0 GPA but I do not know if they really mean that. You know how much schools require a 3.0 but their cutoff mark is actually a 3.8. I have a 3.75 GPA and have been working in psych for about 5 years with my pervious degree in public health but only have been working as a nurse for 6 months. I really hope that is good enough.
Update: Got my acceptance letter today.

make sure to look into the PMHNP facebook group (Wilkes PMHNP) before beginning the program... You will get better answers straight from students ?

Hi :-) I was just accepted into the Wilkes University Post-masters PMHNP certificate program for Summer 2022. For those who started the program in the Spring, how do you like the program so far? Any words of wisdom for us "newbys?" LOL
Iziegbe and Stillthriving, Sorry I decided against this program. I joined the facebook group and realize the program is not for me. Most people in the program have complained so far about lack of support, and how the professors don't seem to care about their students.
I actually got into Anderson University SC. It's an hybrid program and I will be attending that starting August. it's a 15 month program.
