Hi,
I have been looking at job boards to see the job market for CNA and PCT and I see on some of them they specify tht they want a certification from a technical school... Why is that? I was looking at this school http://www.ecrga.com and I talked to the admissisions rep and she says they are a technical school, but they are also private. They do not offer Pell grant but they have financial assistance through the government call WIA or something like that to help with financial aid...but Im just curious, if I choose this school will I be able to find a job...the school is accredited, so...I dont understand what the difference btwn a private and technical school would be from an employers viewpoint..thanks so much in advance for ur insight or input or 2 cents :)

Employers look at the certification and any experience an applicant has. They are not concerned with the school. However, if it is widely known in the community that a certain school is especially good or especially poor, they might make mention of it or notice it. Doesn't mean they won't hire one, as long as the certificate is valid.
thank you for answering my question, I really appreciate it! I was really confused about that... Do u know how I can find out if this is a good school or not? I googled and didnt find anything but the schools website and I saw one post on here where someone just mentioned the school to someone else... thank you
