Who is applying to UAH and/or Calhoun Community Collge Nursing schools Spring 2014

I was wondering who is applying to UAH, Calhoun Community College, or both in the Huntsville/Decatur, Alabama area. I have applied to both schools myself and I am starting to get anxious. I am hoping we can all come together to support and encourage each other and maybe even offer some advice. Don't be afraid to discuss concerns and ask questions, because most likely there is someone who feels the same and at the same time, there might be someone on here who can help. Good luck everyone!

REALLY?!!! That is the best news I have heard all day! I almost didn't apply to UAH because I didn't take the HESI because I thought it was mandatory. I will be sure to let you know what my letter says. I am hoping I receive it before Friday because I will be at Talladega Friday til Monday and that would drive me INSANE not knowing and too nervous for my roommate to tell me the results! hahaha. It would be nice to know some people going into the program since I do not go to UAH either. Ill be checking this daily so post as soon as you receive it hopefully it wont take to much longer for me to receive way down here:up: good luck!

My goodness, now, I'm really nervous. I didn't get a call either, and I took the HESI test at the last minute too (found out about it last minute). I did not know that it was not mandatory to take before turning in our applications (thank you for sharing that...you learn something new everyday), but I think I did fine considering I was not able to study for it.

I, also think it's a good sign that you got a call jrl905. I am hopeful for all of us. Please UAH, send us all packets!

Hey ya'll when reading other posts, I see that the admins for the site remove names of people that work for the schools in the nursing programs and put little notes people's posts...I would edit you know who's name before they see it.

Thanks clsmommy for the heads up. I didn't even think about the fact I wrote her name lol. Now I can't figure out how to edit it. Do you know how I can go back and take the name out?

I'm still learning about this site, and I think there is only a limited time that a person can edit their post. I didn't know that either but I'm just now learning that, because I cannot edit any of my posts either. I think that is typical and I believe it is probably about an hour to edit (it might even extend to the entire day of the post), but don't quote me on that. It will be ok though, we are all learning here. I only knew it because I have been looking at this site for about 6 months. No big deal, they will edit it. You can actually report yourself and ask them to change it by clicking on the "!" in the left lower corner.

I applied at Calhoun for the LPN to Rn bridge program. Anyone know when we will find out if we were accepted?

Several posts have been edited. If you want to share names of school employees, we ask that you do that via pm.

Thank you clsmommy for that heads up. I didnt even think about that when posting. I finally received my letter from USA, I am on the waiting list. Which I guess is better than being denied haha! I am still hopeful for UAH and I am going crazy waiting for those letters!!

You are indeed welcome jrl905. I think it's awesome that you made it to the waiting list at USA, and like you said, it's much better than getting denied. I think you have a wonderful chance making it into UAH. Packets 4 everyone! :yes:
