Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone applied to lattc for the nursing program for spring 2014? I did and I was wondering when will they notify us about acceptance or denial. Thanks
Hi. I went to LATTC and I am a little nervous. They don't seem to have supportive services for students. There isn't a student nurse association or tutoring services for nursing. I asked the counselor and one of nursing staff why students seem to leave or not pass the first semester and I was told because we weed them out. I don't want to go to a school that isn't
nursinggirl11 I live in North OC too...Fullerton area and am starting in the fall of 14'...the drive in the morning is going to be a nightmare. Have you started the program already?? love to hear some advice.
My advice to you would be try the train. Drive to the nearest stop you can get to then take the train the rest of the way it takes you right across the street from the school.
I went today. They were pretty busy getting nursing students in there classes and stuff. But im sure your in for fall.
Are you in the program for the fall ( means accepted) or your application is for fall semester(but not accepted yet)..theres a difference. I applied there as well, but they said my application is for Fall 2014. But that doesnt mean Im "in" the program already. Its first come first serve basis.
Luckily, Im in for Pasadena for Spring 2014. I started school this past Moday, its very overwhelming and stressful cuz of school work. But I love it! My advise..apply everywhere. This will give you a big chance to get in..goodluck!

Hi MsCmb, I called the school and she told me that I'm in for fall. Also I asked her when will they be sending acceptance letters and she told me in May, and starting in late august. I guess it's all good. Now just waiting until May. Hopefully we are going to be classmates.
@jofapcastillo How is school going? Is it really hard?
I'd say you need to know how to manage your time. Theres a lot of readings, quizzes every week, exams every week plus clinicals and a lot of paperwork to do for so little time. Enjoy your free time while you can! It's not that super hard, just a lot of stuff to do for so little time. Get a planner to manage your schedule.
Goodluck! You can do it!
