Thank you so much! Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. I am so nervous to start. I see you have a son, how do you manage your time with him. I am only asking because I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. I really didn't think I was going to get in this time but I am thrilled I did. I am so happy I do not have to apply again just to get the not accepted letter. Thank you again for the congrats.
I'm currently a pre-nursing student; and I have heard great things about the Nursing program at the PB campus. From what I've seen and heard is that majority of the student nurses are nontraditional students who have wife, husbands and children to care for. I know of one woman who is a single parent of 6 children and is doing really well in NS, but there is a lot of sacifice that comes with it so, anything is possible. I have a child and I'm balancing school as well. I hope to be as thrilled as you are some day. Best of luck...
Yeah! It is crazy that classes start so soon! I have been working in the medical field for some time now. I started out working at a vet clinic, then pharmacy, then I switched to radiology/cardiology testing, and now wound management. I worked at the front desk as a scheduler mostly in all those places. So, I just felt it made since to become a nurse and use what knowledge I have aquired. I applied to the Palm Bay campus for the convenience to work while going to school. Let's hope it works out...haha!
I think the Palm Bay's accreditation is part Cocoa's accreditation because everything is through the Cocoa campus. They just hold the classes at Palm Bay, but everything else is handled at Cocoa. If you remember we had to turn our applications in there and see the advisor @ the Cocoa campus. This is what I think, but I am not 100% sure.

Just wanted to see who was accepted to Brevard Community College Palm Bay for the Jan 2012 start date. Also which part of Brevard is everyone from. I am from Cocoa but chose the Palm Bay program because its a night program and I have heard wonderful things about it. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
