Can WHNPs be trained to assist in C-sections? Have you heard of this? (or can only CNM)?

Can WHNPs be trained to assist in other ob/gyn surgeries?

Do they have to be RNFA certified?

Yes, any NP can assist and bill for first assist services. Yes, WHNPs can assist in other ob/gyn surgeries.

No they do not have to be RNFA.
