Hi everyone! I posted this in the Advanced Practice section but wanted to also put it here as it may help the responses.

I'm reaching out looking for any advice or leads on jobs in the northern VA, MD, or DC areas. My husband and I are relocating to the area in the next 2-3 months. I am a WHNP-BC with impressive academic accomplishments looking forward to using my experience and knowledge in the women's health community.

If anyone has any leads or advice, I am open to it all! We are relocating from overseas so it has been challenging finding the jobs or contacts in the area.

If this is not too late, have you looked into Dewitt Hospital at Ft. Belvior? Or their associated clinics...besides on the base, they have clinics in Fairfax and Woodbridge. Same thing for Walter Reed, besides the hospital, they have other clinics..I think Ft. Myers and elsewhere. Be advised that Walter Reed will be closing in the future with business being moved up to Bethesda. I believe that all staff will have a transfer available to them--you would need to check though.

Hi. I know there are birthing centers in Alexandria, Bethesda, and Loudoun County and I would imagine there are more around the area. Also, if this interests you, you could check with nursing programs at local colleges and universities to see if they would be interested in having you as adjunct faculty to teach women's health clinicals. Hope this helps some.
