yup they are, but thank goodness for those detergents with peroxide in them. They really whiten things! I like the arm & hammer since it has the baking soda in the detergent, leaves my clothes soft & fresh but not too perfumed. :eek: Gosh I sound like somebody's wife! (oh, yeah, I am!!!):roll
