I am graduating in December from a BSN program & in my NCLEX review class they told us to start looking at applications and deciding which state to apply to get our licensure's in. I am a resident of Massachusetts but I go to school in Virginia. I was originally going to apply for a MA license, but I heard there are not a lot of new grad jobs in MA. I was considering getting a Virginia license because it is a compact state and I would have more options for jobs. Do you all have any input on this? Which one would be a better idea? Thanks![/quote']You have to be a resident of the compact state for it to be valid for compact status. If you're a non resident, it's a valid single state license.
