I understand that after you finish a BSN program, you sit for the NCLEX. If you pass, you receive your license for the particular state you took the exam.
So, if I got a BSN in Illinois and passed the NCLEX I would become an RN in Illinois. How difficult is it to transfer your license to another state? It seems like it should be easy since it's a national exam, but from what I've seen it seems to be state-by-state.
