Which size scrubs should I get?

Published

Hey, everyone.

I am attending Chamberlain and we have to order our scrubs online. Because of this, I have no idea what size to get! It looks like there is only one size for the women's top, but there are petite, tall, and regular pants. I am 5'4 and 115 lbs, and I usually wear around a size 2 to 4 in pants. I am afraid if I get the petite that it will be too short on me (I have longer legs and a short torso), but if I get the regular then it might be too big around the waist.

I tried looking for the specific brand, but I can't find it. Any advice would be helpful!

Thanks!

Hi - I would order the regular because I wouldn't want to risk them being too short unless you always wear a petite. If they are really long, you can always have a dry-cleaner take them up if necessary. But the best advice is to search around the website. The website should have sizing information somewhere where they give you specific information about what size to order based on your height and body measurements. Good luck!

I have the same problem. I am short in the torso and longer in the inseam. I've been wearing Cherokee and really like the fabric on the pro flex and the luxe but I have to wear the pants a little lower than intended so they clear my nursing shoes. I have been going to websites and looking at the inseam length. Most of them are 30 to 31 for regular. I'd love to find one that is 31 1/2 or 32. If I find something, I'll post it here.

I would do regular. Better to cut and fix than to have uber short pants.

If it helps, I am 5'2", 120lbs, wear a 3 or 5 in juniors jeans, and wear an XS in scrubs. They are not the petite. If you are 5'4", I bet the petite would be too short. The XS fits me really well in length. They fit perfectly, if a little tight around the waist because that's where I carry my weight.
