Which is easier

U.S.A. Alabama

I guess "easier" is not the best word... But I am already tired of the mess at my school. I'm trying to figure out if I should have taken the LPN route, then went through the mobility program, or one of the online programs to get my Associates or Bachelors Degree. I'm looking into Herzing, but I'm not sure.

Have you considered transferring to another nursing school?

I have, I just don't know which one to transfer to...I thought Jeff State was the best... But they are so quick to write you off like a contagious disease, and I liek the favortism that is being shown, more quick to help one person than the next. I want a teacher who teaches

Sounds like you have a tough decision to make. I wish I knew what to tell you. Personally, everyone seems to get fair treatment at my school(Central Alabama CC) and I don't perceive any "mess" going on.

You know what, I actually thought about getting info on CACC. I think there is a campus in Sylacauga(sp?), I live on 280, so it's a straight shot. Is there any information that you could share?

Sure...The campuses are in Childersburg, Alex City, and Talladega. Both Childersburg and Alex City have nursing programs. Childersburg admits in the fall for ADN/LPN and I *think* Alex City admits in the Spring.

Ok, that's cool, the Childersburg campus would be closer to me. Do they have a good nurse support for the students, and what about the ERI test, and the math test that has to be taken every semester, what are the requirements for that. I will probably call CACC this week also to get some more information

As far as I can tell(I'm only in my 1st semester) the support from the faculty seems great. I'm not really sure what the ERI test is. As far as the Dosage and calculation test, they have a progressively higher expectation each semester. It starts at 84 I think and progresses to 92 in your last semester. Here's a number that should put you right through to the nursing dept.: (256)378-2045. Just let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Thanks so much for the info...I will have time to apply for the summer if necessary. That makes ALOT of sense for the math test, to progress to the 92, I don't see why all schools don't do this. But I will definitely keep the information on hand. Thanks

You're welcome. I'm just happy I could help.
