I want to start on my pre-reqs to get into the nursing program at the community college....and so I know for sure that I am taking Anatomy first before I take Physiology...but I want to know, what other two classes should I take along with Anatomy?...I was thinking about speech and sociology...would this be a good idea?...
P.S...I want to take 3 classes at a time..1 "hard" course and two "easier courses...

Speech and sociology are fine to take with Anatomy. Even psychology (the life span one) would be good to take because it relates with Anatomy. But I do want to ask if you have taken your other science classes yet? We had to have anatomy and physiology and then either 2 Bio's or 2 Chem's. If so...take the chem or bio the first year and the Anatomy and Physio the second year because then it will be fresh on your mind when you start your nursing classes.
Hello Anne...Im am literally starting from scratch...I haven't taking any claases other than CNA..PHLEBOTOMY..AND 12 LEAD EKG...But Im about to tell you what the pre reqs are for the nursing program at the community college that Im attending...they are broken down into 2 groups (Group A..& Group B)
Group A is: Anatomy,Physiology,Microbiology,English,Nursing 205,Pharmacology (Nursing 212)
Group B is:Sociology,Physiology(I don't know why they have this down twice),Speech,Psychology, and Information Compentency LIBST (Whatever this is)
The director of the nursing program at the schoool told me not to take all classes in one group...she suggested that I mix them up...so what do you think I should do?
It doesn't look like you have too much to take! Another good one to take with Anatomy is English. English, sociology, speech and classes like that do not take alot of time outside of the classroom. You can take any of those that you prefer with your Anatomy. I know that when I was in Anatomy that was pretty much the class that I focused on, my other ones were on the back burner but they were simple classes like those. I do suggest getting English out of the way though it tends to be an annoying class!
It doesn't look like much??...LoL...That's 12 classes... ...but the english class is filled already...I wanted to try to knock out 5 classes at once...but people tell me that is to much to take on...I am the type that like to get things done and get them out of the way...but I don't want to wreck my brain though...so I will take three...and since you said Anatomy,Speech and Sociology would be ok,then I guess I will do that first...I will be done with those classes in May..I start on the 22nd...so hopefully after that I will know you a little better and that way,I will want your opinion on which classes to take next...because I will need some guidance on this journey to nursing...and thanks again...you are alot of help Anne..!!!...
