Which class to drop?

Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

Published

I am about to move across country and I don't think I can pack everything, sell the house, spend 10 days on the road driving, while taking two classes at UTA (RN-BSN). I'm registered for Stats and US government. Which one of these classes will be easier to take while doing all the things I'm having to do at this time? I'll have limited internet access for about 3-4 days. I need to decide on which class to drop.

Thanks!

Definately drop stats! Us government was pretty straight forward, read the notes take the test type of class. Stats has been very difficult to keep up with for me.

See... I disagree... I would drop Government. I am in my Capstone, final course of RN-BSN, at UTA and the history courses killed me... the reason - I don't do history. I am great at math and statistics.

Bottom line - look at each syllabus online and see which you know you can handle with some additional stress. I had to drop a few over the last 18 months because of my wedding and spinal surgery... and sadly, the history/governments were my lowest grades.

Best of luck to you, it's a GREAT program!

Stats is by far the more involved course. I am great at math and ended up passing the course with a 98 or 99, and if I were in your shoes I would still drop stats. You don't have the time to devote to it.

Government is one of the easiest classes and doesn't take a lot of concentration. I'd take Government now and save stats for when I have the time to concentrate on it.

I never took Stats at UTA, but based on the Stats class I did take...I'd drop Stats and keep US Government.

The History classes through UTA are brutal, but Government is not that bad.

That being said, Government has weekly quizzes so you need to be sure you have internet access while on your road trip.

As I recall, I worked ahead in the government classes. I don't think you have to log on at a specific time for quizzes.
