Which is better-Seton Hall U or Ramapo College?

Does anyone know which nursing program is better--Seton Hall's Accelerated BSN or Ramapo College's joint BSN program with UMDNJ?

I have a degree in history and plan to pursue a BSN full time.

Any information you can share would be most appreciated.

Are you looking to get your Nursing degree soon? If so, I suggest Seton Hall's Accelerated program (if you have the money and or don't mind taking out NUMEROUS school loans). Your other school options are (since you have a degree) are UMDNJ, FDU and Rutgers.

I would have to agree with JLG. If you can handle it go for the accelerated, no sense in wasting time taking a 4 year BSN program. I have a previous B.S. degree and its better for me to build on that. Seton Hall has two programs one is 14 months (Accelerated) and the other is 20 months (Second degree) so they are more flexible with time. I was accepted into UMDNJ Accelerated, just waiting on Seton Hall. I have talked to many nurses and they all said something nice about both programs. If you dont feel like going for a BSN, Muhlenberg Hospital offers an Accelerated RN program that is to begin in January 2006. Its 12 months and its a hospital based program (so lots of clinical time). its cheaper and not as intense.

Hey there! Congrats on your acceptance! I actually just heard back from Seton Hall last Thursday (got in) and just got some feedback from students who are currently enrolled in both schools. Are you favoring one over the other? I'd like to know which you choose. I'm most likely going to UMDNJ, let me know if you are too.

I would like to hear from Seton Hall first, but Im favoring UMDNJ, partly because they are affiliated with a teaching hospital. Dentistry and medicine is there too, same buildings. Its going to be a drive for me though, coming from northen Monmouth County.
