Hello,

I am in the first stages of building my resume to apply for CRNA school. I would like to take some grad courses (advanced patho, advanced pharm) to increase my competitiveness when applying. However, every college I call... they tell me that I'm unable to take grad. level courses without enrolling into a grad. program... I'm from the philly area..... Does anyone know any colleges where I can take these courses w/out enrolling into a grad program or have any other suggestions? Thanks for your help! :o

I took advanced pathophysiology at the University of Maryland as a non-degree seeking student / course work only student. Do any of the local colleges or universities in and around philly offer this option? Also, have you thought about medical biochemistry to help beef up your resume? I know the University of New England offers a distance biochem class and although it is not graduate level, it is very challenging and applicable to the courses you will take as a SRNA once accepted :)

Specializes in Medical/Telemetry. Now ICU.

I am thinking of taking Advanced Pathophysiology and Advanced Pharm as well...not sure where yet though.
