Where to take the CNA Certification Exam

Hi!

I've been told that since I already finished one year of nursing school I can work as a CNA, I just have to challenge the exam and get certified. I want to work this summer as a CNA to add to my experience. I found a list of CNA schools, but not where one can just take the exam. Anybody know?

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area/Oakland/Alameda County. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Am I understanding correctly? You have found a list of CNA courses in CA but you are not sure of what to do to challenge the exam?

Try contacting the schools and asking if they offer a CNA Challenge program. Usually CNA programs and CNA challenge exams are offered by the same companies -- there are not separate facilities that ONLY offer challenge exams. Good luck!
