Hi;
Maybe some can enlighten me a bit; where in California can I do clinicals? I searched on the ISU website but only find facilities OUTSIDE on CA - mostly in Indiana. I guess I might have to call and find out; but nothing even remotely close to where I live - which is near Bakersfield.

There is one clinical site in San Jose and the others that are listed, maybe one or two, are near the Sacramento area because that is where the CA ISU program started. If you want to do the program in Bakersfield, you will have to set up the clinical sites and preceptors for yourself.

There are no clinical sites in California because the California LVN to BSN distant learning program, which is partnered with Sonoma State University and Indiana State University, has dissolved. There is no new program. After severe CA BRN non compliance issues, ISU lying to CA BRN investigators of student complaints, the California State University Chancellor pulled the plug. The entire program ends December 31, 2012 There is no replacement program.
