Where can I find this watch???

I'm a student nurse and am having trouble counting pulses because my wrist watch has the second hand that moves in "steps" and I find myself counting the movement of the watch's second hand rather than the patient's pulse. Therefore, I'm looking for a watch with a second hand that moves continuously rather than the normal second hand that moves in "steps". Does anyone know where I can buy a watch like this? I know Rolex watches have this feature but I can't afford a Rolex. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

try doing a search for watches with a "sweep" second hand. (or sweeping, something like that.

Thanks for responding. I've done that search plus many many others and I still can't find a watch with a continuous second hand. Several watches are listed as "sweep" second hands but apparently, that doesn't always mean continuous movement. I'm running our of hope of finding one.

Have you tried a Timex Pulse-Timer watch?

You press a button, which causes the watch face to flash blue q 15 secs x 1 min.

You can start counting at the first blue flash and stop at the second flash or count for the whole min if you need to.

This might alleviate your problem.
