hey guys:chuckle, what's up i mean i see all the other schools on here communicating back and fourth about classes ,teachers, everything and have yet to come across hfcc fall students or even some who has started january 08 having conversations reguarding school.
[color=#00ffff]well i start fall 08 and very excited and would love to chat with u all concerning hfcc
[color=#00ffff]guys we have to show them other schools up and let them know that we have a great school, insructors, and clinical sites and instructors tooo (lol).
[color=#00ffff]well i hope to hear from you all.
Well, I got my letter in the first round and registered for classes on March 14th. My waitlist date was 12/06....but there was a clerical oversight, and they had me as postponed when I could've started in January 08. Things work out for a reason I suppose. One of my classmates was waitlisted in May of last year and just got her letter to attend April's informational meeting. From what I've heard, those waitlisted in June should be in the next batch of letters to go out probably sometime after April 15th.
You just never know what may happen! So far I've heard that 35 people were actually in the program for sure (unless something changes right before classes start) which is a low number considering there were way more than 35 people at the first informational meeting.
Those that are thinking that they won't get in until January....do everything as if you will start in the fall, because it is possible. They told me Fall 08 when I was waitlisted, so I delayed taking A&P and Pharm, only to find out that I was going to be invited in January. I didn't want to take A&P 2, Pharm and the nursing classes at the same time, so the clerical oversight was for the best...that's what I keep telling myself...lol Although I could be graduating in 2009 instead of 2010.
I hope you all get what you wish for!!!!

To any HFCC nursing students, got a couple of questions to ask
I would like to know how long are your nursing classes 7 1/2 or 15 weeks long?
What is the criteria for getting into the nursing program?
How long is the waiting list and/or how long did you have to wait to get accepted?
