When to Apply for LPN Jobs

Hello,

My name is Brooke, and I just started school for my LPN on 8/25/14. My graduation date should be the end of July/beginning of August 2015. I was reading that many of the RN students apply for jobs in December when graduating in the Spring. I was wondering when I should start applying for jobs. Please help, Thanks so much!

I was reading that many of the RN students apply for jobs in December when graduating in the Spring.
This is because hospital new grad internships are still available to newer RNs.

As an LPN you'll have greater leverage and an actual bargaining chip on which to negotiate if you already apply with an actual LPN license number in hand. You can feel free to apply before you've passed NCLEX, but expect no callbacks. Good luck to you.
