dear all,

i was wondering...

when is the best time to focus on nclex study?

and

how we can find out about some generic drug names?

some of the drugs cannot be found in my mosby's drug book.

best regards,

I try to do a little bit of NCLEX study each day...usually 20 or so questions. I also plan on increasing that for about a month after I graduate.

and as far as finding generic drug names you can usually google them...or if you are at clinicals and really cannot find the correct name and you need to give to a patient call up pharmacy...they have to know it all :)

You can research drugs on the internet by typing the name into a search engine. As for focusing on NCLEX study, set up your testing appointment far enough out to give you enough time, from one to three months, depending on your assessment of your learning needs. Get a calendar and map out a study plan, then go for it. You can do mild study while still in school, but concentrate on passing courses so that you successfully graduate. You have to graduate before you can focus 100% on the NCLEX. Good luck.
