Is anyone currently in Wheeling? How is it? I have been told there are a lot of new grads and travelers in the unit? I'm very nervous about this assignment. Anything I should know before I get there? Thanks!!

I'm here. It's busy. And there is no housing! Be prepared to live in a hotel. Other than that everyone has been super nice, even the patients!

My recruiter is wanting to submit me for a position there in the ER to start in April. How is your experience so far? What unit are you in? and how long is your contract for? I'm travelling alone, and this will be my second assignment...she said there are a lot of other travelers there right now, so I'm hoping there will be great people to meet if I go.

My recruiter at TruStaff supposedly submitted me for a 13 week position there and said she was told that I "was an excellent fit for the position", that was over 4 weeks ago and I never heard from anyone at the hospital for an interview. I contacted my recruiter and she said she had no clue what was going on and would try to find out then she never got back with me. I called her just the other day and she said "oh, that job was filled but I have several in NC!" I live in WV and wanted stay within 4 hours of home due to family. I am not happy with this agency and looking to apply to others .. any suggestions?
