Published

I recently got my 1st semester schedule for BSN Here goes!

Monday 8am-10:50 - Foundations in Clinical Nursing Practice: Theoretical Foundations

12-1:50 -Health Assessment: Theoretical Foundations

Tuesday 6:30am-2:30pm Clinical

Wednesday- NO SCHOOL!

Thursday 8am-10:50 Pathophysiology

12-2:50 Concepts of Professional Nursing

Friday (2 hr in the AM) Health Assessment: Clinical Application

I'm so excited to not have to go to school on wednesday. I WILL go though, because I pay for daycare so I will use that as a full time study day. And then 2 hours on Friday?! Look at all this time to study I have! Is this a normal first semester schedule? I'm so glad that *maybe* all the time to study will allow me to go home and give my undivided attention to my family. School gets out early during the day but I plan to stay at least til 5-530 to study each day.

What is your schedule like?

Specializes in Women’s Health.

My school doesn't go by semesters and we go to school during the summer. We take one class at a time which is nice and each class is 8 weeks.

I have 2 more weeks of advanced med-surg. My schedule is theory on Wednesdays 1330 - 1900 and clinical on Thursdays and Fridays 0630 - about 1530.

I start OB in August and its suppose to be 12 hour clinicals on Sunday and theory on Monday mornings. I'm super excited for OB and only having school twice a week!

Congrats on starting your program and good luck on your journey!
