I graduated in '08 from nursing school. Before I took nclex-rn I got hurt and was not able to take boards that yr. Boards has changed greatly and my question is: should I re-enroll in school? I was unsuccessful 2x on boards . I'm thinking of re-enrolling because I miss my work and I'm not giving up.

I don't think I would re-enroll, per se, however, if there is a refresher in a nearby college, it couldn't hurt to take it. You could enroll in a test prep course, see if there is an independent study group at the college you graduated from and if there isn't one, start one. Also check with the BON on timelines and how many times you can take the NCLEX. They may require a refresher.
Get the test prep books. Take all of the tests you can. Correct them, and see where it is that you are less knowlegeable. Then study those areas well. If there seems to be a theme, and the BON doesn't have a timeline or how many times you can test, you could speak with your alumni college's guidance counselor and find out if you could audit classes, if you could re-take say nursing theory, what choices you have.
Best wishes, and let us know how it goes!
