I just started my 4th semester this week in the ADN program. We did ATI testing at the end of the past three semesters. For this semester they have changed from ATI to HESI. The instructors say that HESI is awesome and that students love it. When we had to take the ATI exams, they really didn't affect our grade. HESI does affect our grade, and is 10% of our grade. The semester just started and I am already worried about that. I was just wanting to see how other nursing students feel about HESI and if they thought it was a good program. Any feed back is appreciated. Thanks.

i think they are completely retarded. i also think they are a poor predictor of student success on the NCLEX. we had all ATI testing, lots of people "failed" the ATI but passed the NCLEX with 75 questions. Don't sweat it!
