Actually,I'm thinking to move from Florida to Texas and I've a lot of questions. How long it takes to do a license endorsement?, What is the best place for a latin nurse to work?, What is the ratio?, What is the pay rate?.

I have 4 years of exp. here in USA and 9 years in my contry; acute care (med/surg,ob/gyn),long acute care and I would like to in nursing home too, but with no exp.

God bless your time.

The county hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area (Parkland Hospital, John Peter Smith Hospital) could really use your skills, expertise, and services if you are bilingual and fluent in the Spanish language. Both of these hospitals have a large Latino immigrant patient population, and their care could possibly be more expedient if they didn't always have to wait on interpreters or translators.

I would recommend Parkland Hospital in Dallas. You will definately put your spanish into good use as most of the patients are Spanish speaking. Payrate for new grads is about $24 so you would definately get paid more than that. Hope this helps.
