Hi guys, so I start my CNA course in a month, and I am soo excited! We are required to purchase white scrubs, and I am worried they won't fit me right. I am VERY small (5'2) 90 pounds. I've gone through the forums, and though I've found information as to which ones carry xxs such as Cherokee, I want to know which brand is really the smallest. Is Cherokee true to size? It says on their website that the xxs should fit 31-33 bust, but someone mentioned that they run big. Any help would be appreciated! :)

My hospital just changed to navy blue, so I have expensive experience in
what runs big and small! Cherokee DEFINITELY runs big. I normally wear a
medium and need a small in Cherokee.
The only true to size, or small for size, brand I have found is Iguana. They
have a little green lizard logo on them - so they might be inappropriate for
all white.
I like to shop online. Maybe you will actually have to go to a scrub store to try
some on.
Wow, thanks for the information. That is a BIG difference in size! I will definitely take your advice and go to the local medical attire store. Thank you!! :redbeathe

I too am very small. I noticed the XS scrubs with the draw strings are huge. I wear the Dickies Hip Flip Collection. They fit great and have elastic waist bands so they are comfortable. They also come in different lengths. Hope this helps.

I am a little shorter than you and I say no way to the Cherokee's. I bought a set and promptly returned them. They were huge! Dickie's pants in XXS petite would probably fit you. I can wear them with Dansko shoes and they don't drag the ground. Grey's Anatomy XS pants also fit me, but only the flare leg style. The cargo style runs much bigger for some reason. Also, White Swan runs smaller but there is very little variety. Hope that helps!

This may sound odd but I purchased my white pants from Old Navy. They come in petite sizes and the fit is pretty accurate. They are on sale right now for $20. They look and feel just like scrub pants. They even have a drawstring. The petite length is perfect and I'm 5'2 as well. I don't have much advice on scrub tops. They are all too huge for me too. But my school requires a specific top so I don't have much of a choice. I hope this helps.

i found that Peaches scrub pants run slightly smaller, but they are still baggy in the thigh and through the leg on me. But fit me better than Grey's, Koi, Izzy, Dickies, Urbane...and let me think...Cherokee, Fundamentals, Landau...yes I have tried on many different petite XS scrubs lately...

I am your same size, 5'2 95 lbs. I went to my local store and here was my find:
Sketchers cargo pants were slightly baggy, but definitely do-able. Cherokee workwear xxs petite was PERFECT. The few others I tried didn't even compare, and unfortunately I can't remember their names.
As far as tops, Grey's Anatomy was an amazing fit. It's pricey but worth it. And the Sketchers contrast wrap top was also a good fit. I tried Landau, Peaches, and Cherokee tops and they were huge even though they were labeled XS.
I recommend going to a store that supplies scrubs. It is a good way to find out what actually fits or not. The internet is not reliable until you actually have worn them.

I noticed the cutest scrubs are always "Juniors sizing" or "slim fit". Even Cherokee has a line like that.
But google "petite scrubs" and plenty comes up.
