Hi all! Do any of you have any suggestions on which shoes are BEST for nurses? There are so many choices and price ranges out there. I am looking for the BEST shoe in terms of long term comfort. I am willing to pay good money for them because life is horrible when your feet hurt in the middle of your shift. :)
Please, please send me your thoughts if you have any suggestions. Sadly enough, they have to be all white shoes, so I am somewhat limited. I heard that KLOGS are great?
Thanks in advance for any help. :):nuke:

I LOVE, LOVE the Nursemate Quarky (sp?) slip on clog!!!!
They are super lightweight, easy to clean and I can wear them ALL day without my feet hurting. I wear Birks when I'm not at work so I am pretty picky about my shoes. I am on my 2nd pair and they only cost about $40.
Hope that helps.

I'm going through the same dilemma as far as trying to find a comfy shoe for long shifts. I don't have the answer for what type of shoe, but I've been browsing on allheart.com and they have a great selection for pretty descent prices, giving you a discount for multiple purchases. good luck!

I love Klogs. They have great arch support and shock absorption. I can go through my whole shift without my feet hurting. I have the LaJolla ones and plan to get another style soon.
I have tried Danskos and found them way too hard with not enough shock absorption. Crocs were super comfy for a while but just not supportive enough. I think Klogs are the best.
Also the cushioning is great.
