Published

I am trying to google about what a residential nurse is and I am not finding much? Sorry if this is obvious, I just have never heard of one before.

thank you!

Specializes in ER trauma, ICU - trauma, neuro surgical.

Haven't heard it. Maybe a nursing home or skilled nursing facility that has nurses stay on site as a resident? There are nursing homes that are actual houses, which are privately owned by a family. They may have a nurses stay on site or next door. That's the best I can come up with....

Specializes in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

It might not be anything special. It could be just a term that a facility calls there nurses.

It's the same as Caregiver/Nurse Aides. We are working in a residence/Private House of our patient or family.

Private Duty Nurse Caregiver was also some of the term.
