Market flooding in 15-20yrs.
Not gonna happen.
Annual state associational meeting last year in Nashville put on a very good graphical analysis of just there is no way this is going to happen, with the cornerstones of the arguements being:
1. the increasing age of national population (people are living longer also)
2. and along with that population, an older CRNA population, many looking at retirement in the coming years
and a host of other information I really can't remember.
Anesthesia shortage is a current problem and is going to just get worse.
Other details I'll leave out, but that is the gist.
There will be no saturation within the market.

Healthcare economics is going to change the way medicine is practiced today.
Making sure we are part of the change is the biggest challenge of our profession. Get involved!!
Great question, by the way.

hey
Yes, i will be involved. I am interested in making it better for others as well as myself and ensuring job security. The only way to do that is to ask questions and be active.
