What is a mixed shift?

I just applied for a full time position where the schedule is listed is mixed shift rather than day, night, evening, etc. Can someone give me an idea of what kind of schedule this may be?

It may be a rotating shift where you may be scheduled to work any shift.

You can always call HR and ask what the term means.
