Hi guys. What are some incidents in your life that has made you become more persistent? What was that one occurrence that made you push even harder to reach your goal?
I am probably the most determined & motivated person I know. This is just my personality. I come from a long line of strong, beautiful women who showed me how a woman should be. I am independent, strong & I overcame many obstacles to a place where I am now. I have lost my mother, step mother & aunt from the same disease all within 2 yrs of each other. I survived DV that nearly killed me & I learned to be strong for myself. I waited a long time to go back to nursing school & I am an LVN pursing an RN currently. After everything I went thru, I learned to put my needs 1st & make school a priority. School has given me the possibility of a bright future & has been the absolutely best gift I have been able to give myself. I just over came kidney cancer & went right back to school & work 2 weeks after my life saving surgery. I will always be grateful for my profession as it had given me many reasons to continue looking & moving forward.
