What should I do after I have been interviewed?

It's is getting close to the deadline for the nurse manager to send out phone calls or emails to prospective candidates to let them know if they have been hired. After I interviewed with her I sent her a thank you letter about 24 hours later. It has been about 3 weeks, and she said we should hear by her in the beginning of November. My question is should I send another e-mail just seeing how things are going, and refreshing her memory of me, or is it being too pushy/desperate? I'm not quite sure how the "after interview etiquette" works.

In my humble opinion you did great by sending a thank you note. And if she said you'll hear from her in the beginning of November, give her a chance to back up her word.

Now if you don't hear at all from her first week of November then contact her, kind of like to remind her about how enthusiastic you are about being part of their team.

Good luck, hope you get it. Keep us updated :)
