What if I fail the drug screen that is used to admit me into nursing school?

Published

So long story short, my girlfriend is trying to get into nursing school at Chamberlain University, but I mistakenly told her that CBD won’t show up on a drug test. She took the drug test yesterday and we don’t know the results yet, but if she failed, does that mean she can never get in? She doesn’t smoke or do any drugs. I told her to try CBD for her anxiety but it had a higher THC level than I thought. Please tell me I didn’t just ruin her future. Will they let her retest?

I don't have an answer to your question, but she should look at the programs policies on the drug screening, and if she has received her nursing student handbook, it might offer some information.

So what happened?
