What should I bring to clinicals?

I will be starting my first clinical course this summer (OB and peds) and I was wondering what I should be bringing with me. I know my stethoscope and my RNotes books, but what else? Bandage scissors? Help

My instructors would "inspect" us every once in a while. We were required to have a watch, hemostats, scissors, pens, drug guide, and a notebook.

We also did the thing Stephany mentioned, every student bring a different book. Thats a very useful practice.

I have a clipboard I bought that has a calculator and lab values on it. I find it very helpful to always have with me. I also have a med surg clinical companion (Lewis) that has a run down of the basics of most diseases. I find it extremly helpful when my patient has teaching needs etc. Its also small enough to fit in my pocket!
