About a month ago, there was a posting from 'bewbew' about a dog that was picked up by the RSPCA and given to a new owner before the original owners had a chance to 'redeem' him. The dog's name was "Buckley". (I went back through threads to find this, I don't have a phenomenal memory).
Anyway, as a dog-lover half way around the world, I've been wondering, whatever happened in that case, how was it resolved?

Very good question kavi - I too have been wondering if Buckley has been returned to his original owners. It fell out of the news here in Melbourne but I will ask some friends of mine who volunteer at animal shelters to see if they know the outcome. I have a party on Saturday night and will ask them then for you ok.

Thanks NurseRachy!:)
Kavi - sorry about the delay in responding to yolur question. I have asked many animal lover friends of mine and nobody knows the outcome!! I called my local RSPCA and the receptionist too was unsure of the outcome. I have a sneeking suspicion that Buckley is still with the new owners and stuck in their little yard. If i get any more leads then I will PM them to you. Sorry i was very much help this time but i will keep trying!
Rachel :)
Thanks for trying. I bet you are right--if he would have been returned to his original owner I'm betting there would have been huge headlines. Take care. Kavi

Kavi, I read in the papers this week (or last) that Buckley IS still with the new owners...the case is still dragging on.......
