I'm a CNA/GNA with the company. They pay 11.25 for orientation period and you get a shift differential once you're on full-time for the evening (11.50) and night (11.75) respectively. If you have prior patient care experience, your pay rate is increased.
I'm not totally knowledgable on their training program because I endorsed my certification from out of state. I was told that "if an individual received training from the company and quits the job before the 2 year contract ends, you have to pay back the tuition I full." It's seems fair, however I don't know first-hand if that's a true statement...

I'm wondering what Genesis Cna training courses are like? What is the pay like in Maryland? Most of the information of come across is about 5 years old and discusses other states. I would just like some insight about the program and MD facilities since the few things I hear are across the board.
I'm really considering this route to save some much needed money and start a career in healthcare. Eventually I would like to go to school for nursing and feel becoming a Cna would provide a little flexibility in my schedule versus a full time desk job.
