What to expect from RN refresher course.

I retook my RN NCLEX in May to renew my lapsed CA license. I just started working in a skilled, subacute facility to start renewing my skills. I will start my refresher course in the fall. The refresher is 2 parts. 2 months of study and 2 months of clinicals. I was wondering what I might expect in the study part. How much does it cover? Do you think I would have an advantage since I had to study to pass my NCLEX? I hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew with the refresher course and work. Thanks for any info.
