Well I did it. I quit my great paying job due to deep dissatisfaction with everything outside of my family. (funny how combat does that).
I was doing HEAVY diesel repair work and my injury was causing great discomfort.
So I quit 25 / hr job to start school.
I have started school ( in 3rd week now), but it has been weird.
The week before summer semester I went to the campus to get everything straightened. One week before the start of the semester and still no idea of a schedule or what classes I even need.
Well met with my adviser, she told me to register for such and such classes.
I did, and now got an e-mail stating that my GI Bill would not pay for all of them since they were not required as I all ready have a BSBA. The V.A. will not pay for credits that are not degree producing.
So in order to maintain my status as a full time student, I needed to find a minor to fill the class shortage for the next year while I take A&P, and Chem.
I inted to work at the V.A. hospital, so I decided to go and talk to the Gerontology folks.
They helped my immensely and I decided to also pursue a MS in Gerontology....AWESOME!.
Well now I have had no income for 3 weeks, and I still have not had any of my Civilian disability insurance, un-employment, or voc rehab money start kicking in yet.
I do not have a CNA/ CMA yet. Anyone know how difficult it is to test for those?
Need to work while I can.
Well, I have procrastinated enough time to get back to my biology studying.
