What are the different ways to earn your BSN?

Published

I am a recent grad with a biology degree. I currently have $2,600 in loans from my undergrad.I am in the process of applying to ABSN programs( I’ve applied to three in ny, which is where I am a permanent resident. One state school and two privates.) I have gotten an interview request from one private however I did not realize how expensive it is. It’s like $85,000. The other private is even more. I am also looking at umass Amherst, which is around $46,000. However, I was wondering what are the other routes? I know getting your lpn first is one route, but can you guys help succinctly outline the different paths. I’ve really only been looking at the ABSN route and I’m actually in Maryland atm helping my grandma take care of my grandpa who has dementia so it might actually be better for me to stay here (I am not eligible for any MD ABSN programs).
