What is the difference between Primary health care and primary care?

Published

I cant seem to differentiate these too.

Does primary health care involve health promotion? So giving tips in order to better someones health (ex. someone says they get dizzy when they stand up- so I could suggest they should make sure to take their time getting up and move slowly?)

I am suppose to explain to my instructor what principles of primary health care i incorporated while caring for clients this week. But I can't seem to think of anything

I feel like I just assessed them and that is it.

any help would be appreciated. thank you

I am not sure what your school is teaching......Primary health care is typically defined as "essential health care based on practical, scientifically sound and socially acceptable methods and technology" to care for patients. Primary care is the health care given by a health care provider.....the provider acts as the principal point of consultation for patients within a health care system and coordinates other specialists that the patient may need.

How has your school incorporated these ideas into your lecture?

We were recently discussing primary, secondary, tertiary care in my public health class. I am not sure if this is the same concept framework you're talking about, but in case it might help, this was a website my prof shared to help us with these terms. Levels of Prevention
